🚨 Emergency Triage

Don't panic. Answer the question to get the correct First Aid procedure.

What is happening right now?

Protocol: ISOLATION

  1. DO NOT turn off the computer (Evidence is in memory).
  2. UNPLUG the network cable or turn off Wi-Fi immediately.
  3. CALL IT support right now.

Protocol: LOCKDOWN

  1. CHANGE your password for that account immediately.
  2. Did you use that password anywhere else? Change those too.
  3. Report the incident to IT.

Protocol: DEFENSE

  1. Change the password on the breached site.
  2. Ensure you aren't using that password on your Email or Bank.
  3. Watch out for "Spear Phishing" emails using your name.

Reaction Drill: Quarantine

Scenario: You opened a file. It's Ransomware! It is uploading your files to the hacker.

Goal: Click the BLUE CABLE to disconnect before the upload reaches 100%.
